🚲 Renting a Bike at the Han River
You can easily rent a bike at many spots along the Han River. From city bikes to MTBs and even tandem bikes, a wide variety is available — all on an hourly rental basis. Major rental stations are located near popular parks such as Yeouido, Banpo, Jamsil, and Mangwon.
Most rental shops only require an ID and payment, and you can easily extend your rental time if you want to ride longer. Of course, Seoul’s official city bike service, Ttareungyi (따릉이), is another great and affordable option.

☕ Best Rest Stops
Take a short break at one of the riverside cafés!
Spots like Seoul Wave (Ttukseom), Some Sevit (Yeouido), and Mangwon’s riverside cafés are popular among local riders.
There’s something special about sipping an iced coffee while watching the water flow — a peaceful moment right in the middle of the city.
💡 Tips for Your Ride
Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat during summer.
If using Ttareungyi, check station availability via the mobile app.
The river gets crowded on weekends, so try going early in the morning or during the evening for a quieter ride.
